Recovery Process Group

FOR ADULTS RECOVERING FROM ADDICTION AND CODEPENDENCY

Led by Zach Bryant, Ph.D., CGP

Thursdays 3:30-5:00 p.m. (NEW)

Green Hills, TN | $80 session | Initial 3 month commitment | Limited to 10 participants

Recover together. Relate differently. Live more fully.

Many people in recovery discover that while the substance or behavior is gone, the underlying patterns remain.  Shame.  Isolation.  People-pleasing.  Difficulty trusting others.  Fear of conflict.  Feeling responsible for everyone else.  Struggling to ask for what you need.

This ongoing interpersonal process group provides a place to explore these patterns as they happen in real time with others who are committed to recovery.  Together we work to:

  • Build authentic, honest relationships
  • Reduce shame through meaningful connection
  • Understand how past experiences shape present relationships
  • Learn to identify and express the full range of emotional experience
  • Practice vulnerability, boundaries, and emotional honesty
  • Receive and offer genuine feedback
  • Develop a stronger, more integrated sense of self

This is not a lecture, a class, or a 12-step meeting.  It is a living laboratory where the way you relate to others becomes the work itself.

This group may be a good fit for adults recovering from:

  • Alcohol or substance use
  • Compulsive behaviors
  • Codependency
  • Adult children of alcoholics or dysfunctional families
  • Chronic relationship patterns rooted in childhood trauma or attachment wounds

Seldom in life do the same group of people get together for an hour and a half each week to talk confidentially in an emotionally-engaged way.  Doing so can be quite powerful!

I'm happy to talk with people on the phone for 30 minutes free of charge to answer any questions about joining my groups.
